SIGHTS OF UZBEKISTAN
The main tourist centers of Uzbekistan included in the UNESCO World Heritage List are Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva. A huge number of architectural monuments are concentrated in these cities, which preserve the memory of great rulers, destructive wars, seizures, fire and creation. Only all these monuments are far from all the sights of sunny Uzbekistan. The nature of Uzbekistan, its traditions, culture, cuisine and crafts are surprisingly diverse.
It is worth noting the folk crafts of Uzbekistan: amazing silk fabrics and carpets, fabulously bright ceramics, amazing gold embroidery and lacquer miniatures, ancient secrets of paper making, fine wood carving, unique embroidery styles "basma" and "iroki" and much more fabulously beautiful and amazing.
And what is the story about the sights, without mentioning the centers of pilaf, lagman, kebab and samsysh? After all, Uzbek cuisine has won, and continues to win worldwide fame and love for its bright and so many different taste qualities in the East. For many centuries, cooking in Uzbekistan has absorbed all the best of various peoples living on the territory of present-day Uzbekistan.
The nature of Uzbekistan is unique and fertile – here you can freely engage in ski sports in winter, make ecological camel tours in the desert in spring, swim in a mountain lake and paraglide in the Chimgan Mountains in summer or walk along the bottom of the drying Aral Sea in Karakalpakstan in autumn.
In the capital of Uzbekistan – the city of Tashkent, one of the largest megacities of Central Asia, architectural monuments dating back to the Middle Ages have been preserved. The interweaving of modernity with the historical flavor of the eastern city cannot fail to amaze all those who come to the capital.
Walking through the beautiful, sunny Tashkent, you will see sophisticated European buildings, such buildings from the time of the Turkestan Governor-General. For architectural monuments dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries, the most characteristic is the "brick style" of the Russian non-Romantic style. In addition to historical monuments, you will discover the shining facades of buildings built during the years of independence, you will be able to ride the Tashkent metro, each station of which is like a competition of masterpieces. Having visited Uzbekistan, you will not only plunge into the world of magical oriental fairy tales, but also be able to see a lot of new things, hear old legends that have been passed down from generation to generation, taste amazing culinary masterpieces from chefs, climb to the top of Chimgan, and just enjoy the warm, hospitable and bright sun.
