Samarkand is one of the oldest cities in Central Asia, comfortably located in the blooming valley of the Zeravshan River. At the exit from the station, a driver and a guide with an "InTour" sign are waiting for you.
Beginning of the excursion in Samarkand (7-8 hours), visiting:
- The famous Registan Square - the heart of Samarkand, consisting of three grandiose buildings: Ulugbek Madrasah, Tilya-Kori Madrasah and Sher-dor Madrasah;
- the mausoleum of Guri-Emir, the tomb of the Temurid dynasty,
- The largest medieval building in the city - the Bibi Khanym mosque;
- Necropolis of Shakhi-Zinda.
– Mausoleum of the Prophet Daniel, a saint revered in the three main religions. Near the mausoleum there is a spring with holy water.
– Ulugbek Observatory (XV century) – one of the most important astronomical centers;
